Paul Barker is a composer, author and academic. His works include orchestral, concert, opera, and theatre and have been recorded, televised and broadcast in many countries. His two CD’s are Turquoise Swans (Sargasso, London) and Entre Palabras (Quindecim, Mexico). His first book was called Composing for Voice (Routledge, 2003) and he is currently writing another, Music for Theatre. He has received many awards and prizes internationally and is currently Senior Lecturer in Music Theatre at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
